A Lotus For an Omega

A quick post to highlight what I’ve been working on. This lovely lady needed a few nursing bras that were comfy, supportive, and wireless. After showing her a few samples, she particularly like the styling of the Lotus!

Traditional measuring methods yields a 28H. Yet her cross cup alone is a 28K while her BCD is a 28J! Although a wire wasn’t needed for this pattern, I noted that her wire size also corresponded to a 28H.

I knew before we began that I would need to do a projection increase mod [link HERE] but we also decided to raise the height of the underarm seam for more coverage. From there, the “wireline” has changed so much that I decided to select a cradle that better match the length of the new wireline. All that was left to was draft a new back wing to match the front and accommodated a 28” underbust.

Here are the results!

Note the nice separation between the breasts - not bad for a wireless, frameless bra!

All three of these bras utilized the internal sling + nursing clasp. The white and nude bras had sheer cup lining under while the black had stabilized tricot. This gave her some variety as the tricot has a bit more “give” and would be great on days she may feel bloated.
