A Sexy Accessibility Mod of the Haru Knickers

While we were still finalizing the design of the Haru Knickers, we played around with some different accessibility options. We threw some interesting ideas on the table (include a frog clasp and a toggle clasp!) but eventually settled upon using mainstream lingerie supplies for a few reasons. Whatever “closure” we use needs to be readily available and should be relatively flat/discreet. This ruled out the two (however fun and interesting) above options.

Here was one option I really liked visually but didn't work as well as hoped functionally in a daily basis. This design uses 2 sets of strap elastic and G-hook closures on each side. The “x cross” design allows the horizontal tension to be applied evenly with minimal number of straps while maintaining a fully strappy look. Maximizing the strappiness with least amount of work, haha.

The main issue is the G-hook not being stable enough for this purpose. It unhooked rather easily but could be watching be augmented by using a locking clasp instead if someone wanted to recreate this look.
